24-month warranty on all repairs and revisions

KMS Apeldoorn provides a 24-month warranty on parts and labour. This applies to all revisions and repairs we carry out.

Article 1 – Warranty Period

A warranty of 24 months is granted on all repairs and revisions carried out by KMS Apeldoorn, starting from the date on which the repaired unit was returned or dispatched to the customer. The warranty covers both parts used and labour performed.

Article 2 – What is covered

The warranty covers:

  • Defects directly related to the repair or revision carried out.
  • Defects in parts used by KMS Apeldoorn.
  • Errors in the work performed.
  • Recurring faults that were already present when the unit was submitted for repair.

Article 3 – Exclusions

The warranty does not apply if:

  • The unit has been opened, modified or altered by a third party after repair.
  • There is mechanical damage, incorrect installation or wrong connection.
  • The damage was caused by moisture ingress, fire, lightning strike or power surge.
  • The unit was damaged as a result of a traffic accident or external impact.
  • Wear or normal ageing of components.
  • The customer provided incorrect information about the nature of the defect.
  • The unit was exposed to conditions outside the manufacturer's specifications.

Article 4 – Submitting a warranty claim

To make use of the warranty, the customer must:

  • Contact KMS Apeldoorn via info@kmsapeldoorn.nl or 055 534 78 47.
  • Present the original repair report or invoice as proof of the repair carried out.
  • Return the defective unit in adequately protective packaging.

Upon receipt, KMS Apeldoorn will assess whether the defect falls under the warranty. The customer will be informed within 5 business days.

Article 5 – Warranty handling

If the warranty claim is upheld, KMS Apeldoorn will, at its own discretion:

  • Repair the unit free of charge;
  • Replace the defective parts free of charge; or
  • Refund the invoice amount of the original repair.

Return shipping costs are at the customer's expense. Return shipping costs are covered by KMS Apeldoorn if the claim is upheld.

Article 6 – Warranty on shipped items

KMS Apeldoorn also works with customers who send in units. The warranty applies regardless of whether the unit was personally delivered or sent by post. The customer is responsible for adequate packaging on return. Damage due to insufficient packaging is not covered by the warranty.

Article 7 – Relationship with Terms & Conditions

These warranty terms supplement the Terms & Conditions of KMS Apeldoorn. In the event of conflict, these warranty terms prevail with regard to the warranty provision.

Article 8 – Consumer rights

These warranty terms do not affect the statutory rights of consumers under civil law. Consumers are always entitled to the statutory warranty (conformity requirement), in addition to the commercial warranty provided by KMS Apeldoorn.
