KMS Apeldoorn is a specialist in automotive electronics revision and repair, based in Apeldoorn. KMS Apeldoorn is the data controller for the processing of your personal data within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. What data we process

Depending on the services you use, we process the following personal data:

4. Retention periods

We do not retain your personal data longer than necessary:

  • Customer and repair data: 7 years (statutory retention obligation).
  • Warranty files: 2 years after the warranty period.

5. Sharing data

KMS Apeldoorn only shares your personal data with third parties when this is necessary for the service, under a legal obligation, or with your consent. We work with the following categories of processors:

  • RepairAngel (repair management software) – processed in the Netherlands
  • Accounting software / accountant – for fiscal obligations
  • Carriers – for transporting units

Data processing agreements have been concluded with all processors. We never sell your data to third parties.

  • Right of rectification: you can have incorrect data corrected.
  • Right to erasure: you can request deletion of your data ('right to be forgotten').
